ABOUT US: Kathy Wilson,
Principal
Kathy Wilson,
President of WaveLink Productions has an extensive Corporate Management
background and a B.S. Degree in Management, having attended College in Oregon
and Boston.
She was
Founder/President of Wilson Entertainment, Inc., a top Talent & Literary Agency
in Portland, Oregon. Her talent appeared on Episodic TV, mini series,
numerous national commercials and feature films such as Holland’s Opus,
Incredible Journey, Free Willy, and Point Break. She was also President of
Central Xtras Casting. During her time in the Oregon Film Industry she was
an avid supporter of the community and was on the Board of Directors for the
Oregon Media Production Association (OMPA), member of OMA and Portland Ad
Federation, as well as being involved in numerous fundraising activities for the
Oregon State Film Office.
In August, 2003 she
was
Casting Director for “INDIGO”, an Independent Film Produced & Directed by
Stephen Simon (Producer of “What Dreams May Come” with Robin Williams);
Executive Producer/Writer, James Twyman, Emissary of Light and Writer/Actor,
Neale Donald Walsch, author of Conversations with God. This is the first
film made under the genre of “Spiritual Cinema”, which is being pioneered by
Stephen Simon (Spiritual Cinema Circle).
Most recently she was, Casting
Director for "Conversations with God" feature film being released October, 2006.
Kathy
interviewed and produced a promotional DVD for The Spiritual Plumbers, Alice
Tomasello and Connie Patterson. In addition, she was interviewed for “How
to Become a Magnet to Hollywood Success” book and workbook created by Michele
Blood and Rock Riddle.
Currently
Producing a DVD project for Barry Brailsford.
Kathy is very
much a team leader and believes in active participation in the Community.
Training and teaching are one of her passions and her greatest joy is empowering
others to experience their highest potential. She has conducted many
workshops and seminars including an Agents & Acting Class at Portland Community
College.
